ENGLISH ROSE WINDOW

The window is part of a proscenium theater set design based on the English Victorian Gothic style of architecture. Its pattern comes from a common glass motif of the time, the English rose. The set, including the window, were drafted in AutoCAD.
After drafting and creating a digital painting of the design, the window was modeled, lit, and rendered in AutoCAD 3D. Based on the design, I then fabricated the window out of plexiglas, black caulk, and scenic paint mixed with crystal gel medium.
